THE 4TH EAST ASIA MINISTERIAL MEETING ON GENDER EQUALITY AND WOMEN’S EMPOWERMENT – “BUILDING RESILIENCE TO ECONOMIC CRISIS AND MOVING FORWARD”
SIEM REAP, 17th November (Bernama) – Malaysia participated in the 4th East Asia Ministerial Meeting, which was held in Siem Reap, Kingdom of Cambodia, from 17th to 18th November 2011 with the theme “Building Resilience to Economic Crisis and Moving Forward”. The meeting emphasized on the importance of gender equality in post economic crisis and women’s adaptability towards development and growth. The meeting was officiated by Her Excellency Men Sam An, Deputy Prime Minister of Cambodia.
