AIRASIA EAST COAST FLOOD RELIEF FUND: CHEQUE PRESENTATION TO MERCY MALAYSIA

As part of our commitment to contribute back to the community, we have embarked on an AirAsia East Coast Flood Relief Fund, in collaboration with MERCY Malaysia; to raise funds via on-board and online collections, to support the victims of one of the worst floods to hit Malaysia few months ago.
The campaign was run throughout 2nd – 18th January 2015 and funds raised will go towards supporting post-flood clean-up efforts and the repair of schools, hospitals and homes in the flood-affected areas in the East Coast of Malaysia.
We will be holding a cheque presentation ceremony & press conference to hand over the total collection from our campaign to MERCY Malaysia on 20 March 2015 (Friday), and our AirAsia Berhad Executive Chairman, Datuk Kamarudin Meranun; CEO of AirAsia Berhad, Aireen Omar will be present together with the President of MERCY Malaysia Dr Ahmad Faizal Perdaus; as well as Honorary Secretary of MERCY Malaysia, Yg Mulia Puan Raja Riza Shazmim Shah Raja Badrul Shah.
