MEDIA COVERAGE OF THE SECTORIAL TRAINING COMMITTEE (STC) APPRECIATION DINNER WITH THE HONOURABLE MINISTER OF HUMAN RESOURCES YB DATO' SRI RICHARD RIOT ANAK JAEM

We are pleased to inform you that the Honourable Minister of Human Resources, YB Dato’ Sri Richard Riot Anak Jaem will be the Guest of Honour to officiate the Sectorial Training Committees (STC)s Appreciation Dinner organised by Pembangunan Sumber Manusia Berhad (PSMB), an agency under the Ministry of Human Resources.
We would like to invite members of the media to attend the Appreciation Dinner. Details of the event are as follows:

Time : 7.00PM – 10:30PM
Venue : Ballroom A, 1st Floor, Renaissance Hotel KL
Also attending the event is Deputy Minister YB Dato’ Sri Haji Ismail bin Haji Abd Muttalib, Secretary General YBhg Datuk Seri Hj. Saripuddin bin Hj Kasim,Deputy Secretary General (Operations) YBhg Dato’ Romli bin Hassan and Deputy Secretary General (Policy and International) Yang Berusaha En. Mohd Sahar bin Darusman.
The STCs were established with the objective to identify training needs that corresponds with the advancement of technology, system and processes in the sub-sector that are covered under the PSMB Act, 2001 in order to enhance the employer’s level of productivity and competitiveness.
The 19 STCs covers 63 sub-sectors under the PSMB Act, 2001 namely:

iv. Commodity based product
v. Education
vi. Electrical, Electronic & Machinery Support
vii. Food & Beverages
viii. Healthcare
ix. Information & Communication Technology
x. Mineral based product

xiii. Telecommunication
xiv. Textile
xv. Tourism
xvi. Transportation
xvii. Wood base & Furniture
xviii. Mining and Stone Quarrying
xix. Utility and Sewerage Services
