ASEAN LOGISTICS MEDIA BRIEFING IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE 26TH ASEAN SUMMIT 2015

Malaysia assumed the annual rotating chairmanship of ASEAN beginning January 1, 2015 from Myanmar. Malaysia’s vision is the creation of a 'People-Centred ASEAN' involving all sectors of society.
Among the major meetings Malaysia will host during its chairmanship are the 26th ASEAN Summit in April 2015 and the 27th ASEAN Summit in November 2015.
The opening ceremony of the two-day summit will be held at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre on April 26 while the closing ceremony on April 27 is at the Langkawi International Convention Centre, Langkawi Island, Kedah.
The ASEAN Senior Officials Meeting (SOM) on April 24 and other related meetings will precede the Heads of State/Government Summit.
A briefing on logistics in conjunction with the 26th ASEAN Summit 2015 will be held as follows:
