Malaysia is the Chairman of ASEAN beginning 1 January 2015 from Myanmar. Malaysia’s vision of a 'People-Centred ASEAN’ is clearly reflected in the theme "Our People, Our Community, Our Vision.
The opening ceremony of the two-day summit will be held at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre while the closing ceremony is at the Langkawi International Convention Centre, Langkawi Island, Kedah.
There will be group photo opportunities at the following meetings on Saturday 25 April 2015:
(1) ASEAN Senior Officials’ Preparatory Meeting (Prep-SOM)
Time : 8.30 am
Venue : Conference Hall 1, Level 3, Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre
(2) Preparatory Meeting of the ASEAN Senior Economic Officials (Prep-SEOM)
Time : 8.30 am
Venue : Conference Hall 3, Level 3, Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre
(3) BIMP-EAGA Senior Officials’ Preparatory Meeting for the 11th BIMP-EAGA Summit
Time : 8.30 am
Venue : Meeting Room 408 & 409, Level 4, Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre
(4) 22nd SEOM – European Union (EU) Consultations
Time : 10.45 am
Venue : Conference Hall 3, Level 3, Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre
NOTE: Photographer/cameraman covering the above group photos, please assemble half an hour earlier to be guided to the venue.
