Malaysia is the Chairman of ASEAN beginning 1 January 2015 from Myanmar. Malaysia’s vision of a 'People-Centred ASEAN’ is clearly reflected in the theme "Our People, Our Community, Our Vision.
The opening ceremony of the two-day summit will be held at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre while the closing ceremony is at the Langkawi International Convention Centre, Langkawi Island, Kedah.
There will be a photo opportunity for the Gala Dinner in Honour of ASEAN Heads of State/Government Hosted by The Honourable Dato’ Sri Mohd Najib Tun Abdul Razak, Prime Minister of Malaysia and Chairman of the 26th ASEAN Summit and YABhg. Datin Sri Rosmah Mansor scheduled as follows:
Day/Date : Sunday 26 April 2015
Time : 8.30 pm
Venue : Exhibition Halls 1 & 2, Ground Floor, Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre
NOTE : Please register with the 26th ASEAN Summit 2015 Helpdesk/Media Secretariat at the International Media Centre (IMC) in order for us to allocate your position.
Kindly assemble at the International Media Centre (IMC) by 7.30 pm to be guided to the venue.
No cameramen are allowed for the Gala Dinner. Broadcasters can take the feed from the Malaysian Host Broadcaster RTM.
Live coverage will also be available at the International Media Centre in Hall 6.
