Malaysia is the Chairman of ASEAN beginning 1 January 2015 from Myanmar. Malaysia’s vision of a 'People-Centred ASEAN’ is clearly reflected in the theme "Our People, Our Community, Our Vision.
The Opening Ceremony will be officiated by YAB Dato’ Sri Najib Tun Abdul Razak, Prime Minister of Malaysia, Chairman of the 26th ASEAN Summit.
Details are as follows:
Day/Date : Monday 27 April 2015
Time : 9.00 am
Venue : Plenary Hall, Level 1, Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre
NOTE : No cameramen are allowed into the Plenary Hall.
Broadcasters can take the feed from the Malaysian Host Broadcaster RTM.
Live coverage of the Opening Ceremony will be available at the International Media Centre in Hall 6.
