INVITATION TO COVER SPECIAL SESSION OF THE ASSOCIATION OF NATURAL RUBBER PRODUCING COUNTRIES (ANRPC)

Malaysia will be hosting a Special Session of the Association of Natural Rubber Producing Countries (ANRPC) on 7 & 8 May 2015 at Intercontinental Hotel (formerly Nikko Hotel), Jalan Ampang, KUALA LUMPUR.
The Association of Natural Rubber Producing Countries (ANRPC) is an inter-governmental organisation established in 1970 with countries producing natural rubber. ANRPC has 11 Members; Governments of Cambodia, China, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Papua New Guinea, Philippines, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Thailand and Vietnam. These 11 countries accounted for about 92 per cent of the global production of natural rubber.
The Special Session of ANPRC Assembly at Ministerial Level will be attended by five Ministers :
i. H.E Datuk Amar Douglas Uggah Embas
Minister of Plantation Industries & Commodities, Malaysia
ii. H.E Mr Petipong Pungbunn Na Ayudhya
Minister of Agriculture and Cooperatives Thailand
iii.H.E Mr Cao Duc Phat
Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, Vietnam
iv. H.E Mr Lakshman Kiriella
Minister of Plantation Industries, Sri Lanka
v. H.E Dr Ouk Rabun
Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries, Cambodia
The two-day meeting will be held at the Intercontinental Hotel, Jalan Ampang, Kuala Lumpur with the first day, 7 May 2015 (Thursday) involving Senior Official Level Meeting (SOM) and follow by welcoming dinner for Ministers and Delegates Hosted by The Honourable Minister of Plantation Industries and Commodities, Datuk Amar Douglas Uggah Embas and Chairman of the Special Session of ANPRC Assembly at Ministerial Level.
The Special Session involving the Ministers will be held on 8 May 2015 (Friday). Scheduled for the two days event as follows:
