PRESS LAUNCH OF THE 1ST MALAYSIAN YOUTH VIDEO AWARDS - THE LARGEST INTER UNIVERSITY SOCIAL MEDIA CONTEST, FEATURING THE NEXT GENERATION OF YOUNG MALAYSIAN SOCIAL MEDIA PRODUCERS

Social media videos are the most exciting form of medium used to communicate with Malaysians today on various issues.
In what is seen as the largest ever social media video contest of its kind with over (20) participating Universities, the community service platform of the Life Insurance Association of Malaysia (LIAM), Insurans Hayat Cares; is jointly organising with Malaysian Youth Community (MYC!), the 1st Malaysian Youth Video Awards for youth to showcase their video production skills.
This event is presented by LIAM and its 16-member companies,
co organized with MYC and supported by Perbadanan Kemajuan Filem Nasional Malaysia (FINAS) and the Ministry of Education (MOE).

10.30am: Opening speech by the Chairman of the Industry Promotion Committee, Mr Ramzi Toubassy
Speech by Mr Jason Ko, founder of MYC!
10.40 am: Multimedia screening on Malaysian Youth Video Awards
10.45 am: Q&A session with members of media
11.00 am: Refreshments
