EXCLUSIVE MEDIA PREVIEW OF BANGSAWAN PERFORMANCE

As part of its efforts to preserve, nurture and promote traditional arts and culture in the country, PETRONAS in collaboration with Universiti Pendidikan Sultan Idris (UPSI) will showcase Malaysia’s traditional Bangsawan performance titled 'Tun Teja Ratna Benggala’.
Bangsawan performance is a traditional Malay theatre from 1870 that is performed by a troupe and accompanied by music and dance.
'Tun Teja Ratna Benggala’ will be staged at an Exclusive Media Preview by Kumpulan Bangsawan Seri Kedah which is one of the recipients of PETRONAS’ Arts and Culture Grant.
The founder of Kumpulan Bangsawan Seri Kedah who is also a prominent figure in the Bangsawan performance, Encik Morad Ibrahim, will be present at the Media Preview.
