Malaysia took over the chairmanship of ASEAN on January 1, 2015 from Myanmar with a clear vision towards the creation of a 'People-Centred ASEAN’ that encompasses all sections of society.
A significant milestone for ASEAN in 2015 is the realisation of the ASEAN Community where all 10 members aim to achieve uniformity of rules and procedures and seamless physical, infrastructural and people-to-people connectivity.
As Chairman, Malaysia’s focus also includes the realisation of the ASEAN Economic Community (AEC) which is a key pillar of the ASEAN Community.
From August 20-25, 2015, Malaysia will again be hosting meetings for ASEAN Economic Ministers, AFTA Council, AIA Council and AEC Council.
There will be photograph opportunities for the following meetings scheduled as follows - Tuesday 25 August 2015:
1) 4th AEM – Canada Consultations ~ Dialogue with CABC
Time : 9.00 am

2) 4th AEM – Russia Consultations
Time : 10.45 am
Venue : Conference Hall 1, Level 3, West Wing, Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (KLCC)
3) AEM – ASEAN BAC Consultations
Time : 1.30 pm
Venue : Conference Hall 1, Level 3, West Wing, Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (KLCC)
4) 7th CLMV Economic Ministers Meeting
Time : 3.15 pm
Venue : Room 408-409, Level 4, West Wing, Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (KLCC)
NOTE: Photographers/cameramen covering the above photograph sessions, please assemble half an hour earlier in order for us to assign your positions.
