PETRONAS ALL ABOUT YOUTH (AAY) TO ANNOUNCE CHAMPION FOR 2015

PETRONAS All About Youth (AAY) Programme 2015, which took off in March will come to a close with the final round of evaluation for 6 teams from schools representing Sabah, Sarawak, Melaka, Johor, Terengganu and Kelantan.
The finalists, selected from among 1,800 Form Four students from 90 schools in the respective states will vie for the RM50,000 school refurbishment grand prize, and RM1,000 in their individual National Education Savings Scheme (SSPN) accounts at the national level of the competition.
Designed to nurture the students’ talents, creativity and leadership skills, PETRONAS AAY participants had 6-weeks to complete their projects to address the needs of their surrounding community and environment.
The time has come for the ultimate contest and teams will be judged based on their creativity, clarity of presentation, impact, originality and the sustainability of their projects.
They will be assessed by a panel of five judges comprising PETRONAS, Ministry of Education, and Ministry of Youth and Sports officials as well as a TV personality.
PETRONAS is pleased to host the final judging and dinner to announce the winning school and champion of the PETRONAS AAY Programme this year.
The dinner will be graced by the Director-General, Ministry of Education, Dato' Sri Dr Khair Mohamad Yusof. Also present will be PETRONAS President and Group CEO, Dato’ Wan Zulkiflee Wan Ariffin.
