OPEN TELEMATCHES OF WISMA OCM IN CONJUNCTION OF NATIONAL SPORT DAY 2015 (SUKANEKA TERBUKA WISMA OCM SEMPENA HARI SUKAN NEGARA 2015)

The Open Telematches of Wisma OCM in conjunction of National Sport Day 2015 will be held as follows:
Day/Date : Saturday 10 October 2015
Time : 9.30 am to 1.00 pm (Registration: 9.00 am)
Venue : Tan Sri Hamzah Arena, Level 3, OCM Indoor Sports Complex, Jalan Hang Jebat, 50150 Kuala Lumpur
Objectives:
- To encourage office bearers, executives and supporting staff of OCM, NSAs, Olympic Sports Hotel, organization and tenants within Wisma OCM to go active.
- To support the Hari Sukan Negara initiated by the Ministry of Youth and Sports in October every year.
Target Participants:
- Executive Board and staff of OCM
- Management and staff of Olympic Sports Hotel
- National Sports Associations (NSAs)
- Organizations and tenants within Wisma OCM
Programme and Activities:
Badminton
- Events : Men’s Doubles and Women’s Doubles.
- Best of 3 games of 11 points.
- Double knockout system.
Netball
- Event : Three on Three (3x3).
- Participation : Open to males and females.
- Each team consists of 3 players (“mixed” team).
- The game is played on one third of the normal netball court with one Netball basket only.
- The game is a single period of 5 minutes with sudden death at 11 points. The winner is the first team to score 11 points or the team with the highest score at the end of the 5 minutes.
- Double knockout system.
Table Tennis
- Events : Men’s Singles and Women’s Singles.
- Best of 3 games of 11 points.
- Double knockout system.
Tai Chi
- Event : Tai Chi, group practice of 20 minutes, lead by Master Chin Hoong Iap.
- Participation : Open to everybody
- Practice time : 10.00 am to 10.20 am
: 10.30 am to 10.50 am
: 11.00 am to 11.20 am
Note: Lunch would be provided at the Coffee House of Olympic Sports Hotel at 1.00 pm
