BRITAIN TO LAUNCH EDUCATION CAMPAIGN IN MALAYSIA WITH 3 MOUS

Britain will launch its “Education is GREAT” campaign in Malaysia before rolling it out to the rest of ASEAN. The campaign celebrates existing education links between the UK and Malaysia. It also paves the way for more partnerships in the sector by bringing together British institutions and Malaysian providers to make UK education more accessible here. This supports Malaysia’s aspiration to be the regional education hub for ASEAN.
The campaign will be jointly launched by Her Excellency Vicki Treadell, the British High Commissioner to Malaysia, and YB Datuk Mary Yap, Deputy Minister of Higher Education. Three MOUs will be signed at the event involving CIMB Holdings, Shell Malaysia, BAE Systems and Heriot-Watt University.
Apart from speeches by the High Commissioner and the Deputy Minister, Dato’ Seri Nazir Razak, Chairman of CIMB Group, and other signatories to the MOUs, are also expected to say a few words in conjunction with the MOU signing.
