MEDIA INVITATION TO A PRESS CONFERENCE ON WORLD CANCER CONGRESS 2018 & WORLD CANCER LEADER'S SUMMIT - MONDAY, 29TH FEBRUARY 2016

On behalf of the Malaysia Convention & Exhibition Bureau (MyCEB), we would like to invite members of the media to a Press Conference announcing Malaysia as the next host for the World Cancer Congress 2018 and the World Cancer Leaders’ Summit.
Malaysia becomes the first country in South East Asia to host the World Cancer Congress and World Cancer Leaders’ Summit from the 1st to 4th , October 2018. Over 3,200 cancer experts and delegates from 115 countries are expected to converge in Kuala Lumpur.
Held every two years, the World Cancer Congress is a leading platform for exchanging of best practices in the implementation science of cancer prevention and control; and is a key networking opportunity for the global cancer and wider health community.
This will be a Joint Press Conference between the National Cancer Society of Malaysia (NCSM) and the Malaysia Convention & Exhibition Bureau (MyCEB). NCSM is a charity body established in 1966 and is the first not-for-profit cancer organisation in Malaysia that provides education, care and support services for people affected by cancer. MyCEB, established under the Ministry of Tourism & Culture, serves as a central hub to assist meeting and event planners to bid for and stage international business events in Malaysia and act as a conduit for national product development.
