PETRONAS PAMER PROJECT WILL COMMENCE CHANNELING WATER TO SUNGAI LEBAM DAM

PETRONAS’ Raw Water Supply Project to RAPID, or known as PAMER is set to channel raw water to the Sungai Lebam dam, in Kota Tinggi, Johor.
This marks another significant milestone for the overall progress of Pengerang Integrated Complex (PIC) project which is expected to achieve its first refinery startup by 2019.
In addition, the commencement of raw water flow from PAMER to the Sungai Lebam dam will help ease water crisis in Kota Tinggi and Pengerang area.
PAMER – one of the six Associated Facilities for PETRONAS’ PIC project in Pengerang – is expected to channel 40 to 60 million liters per day (MLD) of water to the Sungai Lebam dam and another 230 MLD to the PIC.
Officiating the event will be the State Secretary of Johor, YB Dato' Haji Ismail Karim.
