INVITATION FOR MEDIA COVERAGE: WORKING VISIT OF YAB DATO' SRI MOHD NAJIB TUN ABDUL RAZAK, PRIME MINISTER OF MALAYSIA TO THE ASEAN-RUSSIA COMMEMORATIVE SUMMIT IN SOCHI, RUSSIA, 19-20 MAY 2016

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Malaysia wishes to inform that YAB Prime Minister will be attending the ASEAN-Russia Commemorative Summit in Sochi, Russia from 19-20 May 2016. The Commemorative Summit is held in conjunction with the 20th anniversary of ASEAN-Russia Dialogue Relations and will chart the future direction of the ASEAN-Russia partnership. In this regard, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs respectfully invites media representatives to cover YAB Prime Minister’s participation at the Summit.
Interested media representatives are requested to fill in the attached matrix and return the completed form together with a Letter of Assignment and Equipment List to Mr Mohd Nizam Halimi (nizamhalimi@kln.gov.my) at the earliest. The original copies of the documents are to be brought along during the visit.
With regard to media requirements, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia has informed that all media personnel covering the Commemorative Summit must be accredited. Accreditation and registration may be done via http://en.russia-asean20.ru/accred/ by Wednesday, 20th April 2016. Please note that visa will be required for media personnel travelling to Sochi, Russia.
Further details on the Summit and the official tentative programme will be provided to the media once more information is received.
