A new reporting framework, known as the Malaysian Private Entities Reporting Standard (MPERS) Framework, is effective for financial statements beginning on or after 1 January 2016.
To assist its members in their transition to the MPERS Framework, the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA) has produced a book titled “Illustrative MPERS Financial Statements, with Commentaries”.
The MPERS book launch will be officiated by YB Dato’ Sri Mustapa Mohamed, Minister of International Trade & Industry (MITI) Malaysia.
At the launch, there will also be a presentation by the MIA’s Small and Medium-sized Practices (SMPs) Committee Chairperson YBhg Datuk Zaiton Mohd Hassan.
