SIGNING CEREMONY FOR STRATEGIC PARTNERSHIP BETWEEN CIMB AND CREDIT GUARANTEE CORPORATION MALAYSIA (CGC) (TUESDAY, 1 OCTOBER 2024)

We are pleased to invite members of the media to the signing ceremony of a strategic partnership between CIMB and Credit Guarantee Corporation Malaysia (CGC) which highlights a joint commitment to financing for small and medium enterprises (SMEs) to accelerate the growth of this sector, leveraging CGC’s portfolio guarantee scheme. The ceremony also celebrates one decade of CIMB’s long standing collaboration with CGC.
CIMB continues to be one of the key financial institutions in mobilising financing for the biggest business sector in Malaysia, holding a top-three position in the market. In attendance are Novan Amirudin, Group Chief Executive Officer, CIMB Group and Datuk Zamree Mohd Ishak, President and Chief Executive Officer, CGC who will share how the long-standing collaboration has shaped the SME landscape, while sharing updates on milestones and future targets.
